About Radio FM 90s

Beat2phone system consists of a proprietary heart monitor device that measures the ECG, heart rate, and posture of the person. The heart monitor comes in the form of an easy-to-use heart belt with fixed electrodes. For convenience, disposables patch electrodes can be used. The monitor electronics transmits the digitized signals via Bluetooth into a smartphone or a tablet. With the Beat2phone smartphone/tablet application the signals are displayed and analyzed in real time. The signals can also be stored into the SD card of the phone/tablet or cloud server for a later analysis. The phone/tablet makes it possible to transmit the data further via internet practically in real time.

The current Beat2phone version supports also 2-lead recordings. The default ECG lead is non-standard, but the one commonly used in heart belts for athletics. External electrode can be, however, connected into Beat2phone monitor devices making it possible to record also standard leads, e.g. I, and II, and III.

The heart monitor device is powered with a rechargeable battery that allows a 24h operation when fully charged. The heart monitor can be used in moist and sweaty conditions.

Presently, only phones with Android OS 4.3 or higher are supported. The following signals can be shown and analyzed in real time with the beat2phone application software:
ECG [mV]
Heart rate [beats per minute]
Heart rate variability, Root-Mean-Square-of-Successive Differences (RMSSD) [milliseconds]
xyz posture signals [m/s2]
Histogram oh the heart rate over the recording session

Beat2phone application software makes the analysis of all signals (ECG, heart rate, Root-Mean-Square-of-Successive-Differences (RMSSD), and posture) easy. In addition, automatic ST-level (for ischemia) and semiautomatic P, PR, QRS, ST, and QTc duration computations are implemented.

The heart rate variation can be analyzed in terms of RMSSD, variance and Fourier analysis over a given time period.

The application software computes of the duration of the P wave and QRS complex, as well as PR, ST, and QT intervals from a chosen heart beat ECG period after the user as pointed the onsets of P wave and QRS complex and end points of P-wave, QRS complex and T wave.

An orthostatic test protocol is implemented in the application software. In the orthostatic test mode the application first instructs the person to rest in supine position for 5 minutes, and then to stand up and stay standing for 4 minutes. The average resting and standing heart rate and heart rate variability (RMSSD) are automatically computed, displayed, and stored into a file on SD card. The history of orthostatic test results can also be viewed.

Beat2phone application software supports the exercise ECG recording and monitoring of ECG and other cardiac signals during sports activities.

For outdoor sports the following data is obtained:

ECG
Instantaneous, average, and maximum heart rate
GPS location: latitude, longitude, altitude (from phone pressure sensor)
Time travelled
Distance travelled
Instantaneous, average, and maximum speed
Energy used
Stride rate, cadence

The route is plotted and shown in real time on map.

What's New in this version

Android 8.1. High Bluetooth connection priority for some devices.

mm Paper send bug fixed.

User can make voice markings when taking ECG.

Heart rate histograms and heart rate frequency analysis can be taken from

selected time intervals by making long finger presses on the area 5 mm

from the screen bottom. Default ECG scales can be set by clicking open

heart symbol on upper left corner.
