The Bitcoin News Aggregator delivers the latest news on Bitcoin. Rather than search news, get latest news delivered to you. News is delivered as it happens ordered by newest first. Stop reading old and outdated news forever. The goal is to find reputable news stories only, and get them too you as they break.
We aim to find world news, not only english publications. See news from international sources with headlines and the full article translated to english for you. Don't miss important stories and events from Russia or China on Bitcoin.
Stories are updated constantly. The news feed typically has around 100 items, the newest on top are often less than an hour or two old. Depending on how many stories are breaking, the enture feed may contain news from the last few days.
The feed shows the title (may be translated), how long ago the news was published, the source of the story, and whether it has been translated.
At the top is also the current price. The USD price is also compared with the Yuan price and Euro price converted to USD with the current exchange rates. This shows which regions are moving the price up or down. China often has big spreads from the US and Europe. Also a bar chart indicates the latest 24 hour price trend, with red and green bars. Change the chart period in the settings to show up to 7 days, and view longer trends. The 24 hour trend should roughly correlate with the first page of news stories.
From the settings, Price Alerts can be configured. Provide a swing amount, and a duration for the alert. For example, alert on a 10% change in a 4 hour period. A notification will be received on the phone (along with an optional vibrate and sound). Or provide a low and high price for notifications. On crossing that threshold, a notification will be received. Configure notifications also in the settings, to be silent (just a notification), to vibrate, or to make a sound.

What's New in this version
Add support for price alerts.
Setup a price alert in the settings screen using an price swing along with a duration. For example, Alert if the price changes 10% in 4 hours. It will alert if the price swings up or down by 10% within the last 4 hours.
All the extra permissions are just those required for android push notifications. The application is anonymous and no user information is stored, only the phone's push notification id as required.
