The OTTO Android Tablet Catalog App

Welcome to the OTTO Controls Catalog Android Tablet App. The OTTO Android Tablet application is available through the Play App Store. This Catalog app is designed provide easy access to the latest version of the OTTO Controls catalog. This application replicates all of our catalog data and also includes features such as search and downloadable information in PDF format.

Instructions:

The home page of the OTTO Android Tablet app is easy to understand and navigate. The top banner includes an OTTO logo which will bring you back to the home page from anywhere in the application.

Under the logo is a drop down menu with the following printable PDF files: Terms And Conditions, Military Cross Reference, Hall Effect Guide, Standard Switch Guide, Value Added Brochure, OTTO Reps, OTTO Distributors, About OTTO and Legal. To close the window, click the up arrow at the bottom of the drop down.

On the top right, the telephone icon provides email contact information, address, phone, website and hours

A key feature of this application is the search functionality. Simply type in the first few letters of the product you are looking for and then choose from the drop down menu

The star represents a list of favorites. This will be blank until favorites are added to the list. Favorites can be added and deleted as necessary.

The map icon at the top right brings you to the OTTO website. If you are on-line, the website provides a means to search for an OTTO rep or distributor globally.

Product categories are broken down into four quadrants: Electromechanical, Grips, Hall Effect Controls and Joysticks.

Basic operation is relatively simple; either search by product name at the top right, or tap on the quadrant category. Then simply tap on the product sub categories until you obtain the desired switch.

The product page is designed to show a clear photo of the product at the upper left of the page. Some products have multiple photos and they appear with a simple swipe. Above the photo is the product name and the most current version of the catalog page in PDF format.


The tabs replicate what is available on the website and the number of tabs may vary among products. The common tabs are: Features tab, a Description of the product, the Specs such as electrical ratings, lighting, seal rating..., PN (Part Number) Code, Drawings and Schem. (Schematics). Select tabs can be magnified by using a reverse pinch on the screen.
