Are you interested in becoming a radio personality, television reporter, videographer or producer? If so, a career in Broadcast Communications may be for you. ACC offers specialized coursework in radio and television broadcasting. You will gain valuable experience at KACC-FM, a federally licensed radio station and have the opportunity to produce programming for KACC-TV, the local cable access channel. ACC also offers unique opportunities for internships in commercial, television facilities, production companies and sports broadcasting franchises. Whether you want to work behind the scenes or be on the air, ACC will make sure you’re ready.

ACC offers three Communications - Radio/TV Broadcasting options to help you enter this growing and diverse field including:

An Associate of Science (AS) degree that enables you to transfer to a four-year university to pursue other types of Communications careers.
An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree that teaches you important fundamentals and provides hands-on training.
A Certification that can be completed in three semesters, providing you with the skills needed for entry level positions.
