About Radio FM 90s

The American College of Emergency Physicians’ point of care app, emPOC, is transforming care at the bedside. The app provides clinical content and tools for physicians to utilize when caring for patients in the emergency department. We have recruited top experts in the field to develop tools we know our members can trust. This app is included as an exclusive ACEP member benefit.

The re-launch of the app includes twelve point of care bedside tools:

ADEPT: Agitation in the Elderly
AFIB: Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter
ASD: Autism Spectrum Disorder
ALTERD: Hepatic Encephalopathy
BUPE: Buprenorphine in the ED
BEAMED: Bariatric Examination, Assessment, and Management in the ED
DaRT: Detect, Act, Reassess, Titrate
Hyper K: Hyperkalemia
ICARE2E: Suicide Assessment
Low-Risk DVT: Treatment of Patients with Low-Risk Deep Venous Thrombosis
Low-Risk PE: Treatment of Patients with Low-Risk Pulmonary Embolism
MAP: Management of Acute Pain
COVID-19: Neutralizing Monoclonal Antibodies
ED Vaccinations: ED Vaccinations

Stay tuned for ongoing updates and the release of new tools!

What's New in this version

Through collaboration with the physician-led software development company, MayJuun, this app underwent a complete user interface overhaul and was rebuilt from the ground up using the cross-platform tool, Flutter. Transition between screens and content areas should feel more intuitive with this update. It is also significantly easier to provide content updates as managed via the cloud and to add additional emPOC tools.
