L'Associazione Nazionale Giornalismo Scolastico si affaccia sulla rete il 1 ottobre 2002 grazie ad una felice intuizione dell'attuale presidente Ettore Cristiani; l'Associazione non ha finalità di lucro ed è libera ed indipendente da ogni Partito o Movimento Politico e non è espressione di alcun gruppo finanziario o imprenditoriale.

Dall'Anno scolastico 2017/18 nasce Albo Scuole Festival il Festival delle Eccellenze Nazionali. L' Associazione intraprende la strada dell'innovazione tecnologica e crea un’ Applicazione con cui gestire il tutto, dai post alle foto ai video. Interagire con i propri colleghi italiani tramite un social network riservato e protetto.
