El Congreso en el contexto del Estado Moderno, es la institución e instrumento político representativo, vinculado al principio de la soberanía popular, es el Parlamento, entendido éste, como la asamblea en que reside el Poder Legislativo, sobre todo en los regimenes presidenciales, como en el caso de nuestro país.    
  
El artículo 3º de la Constitución Política del Estado Libre y Soberano de San Luis Potosí, establece que “el estado de San Luis Potosí adopta para su régimen interior la forma de gobierno republicano, representativo y popular, y lo ejerce por medio de los poderes Legislativo, Ejecutivo y Judicial…”.
         
Asimismo, el artículo 40 señala que  “el ejercicio del Poder Legislativo se deposita en una asamblea de Diputados, que se denomina el Congreso del Estado, la cual se renovará totalmente cada tres años”.

Esta App tiene la intención de fortalecer el vínculo de comunicación con la ciudadanía.

-HAZ TUS COMENTARIOS Congress in the context of the modern state is the institution and instrument political representative, linked to the principle of popular sovereignty, that is the Parliament, understood as the assembly in which the legislative power rests, especially in presidential regimes, as in the case of our country.

Article 3 of the Constitution of the Free and Sovereign State of San Luis Potosi, states that "the state of San Luis Potosi adopt internal rules for the form of republican, representative and popular government, and is exercised through the legislative Executive and Judicial ... ".
 
Furthermore, Article 40 states that "the exercise of legislative power is vested in a meeting of Deputies, called the State Congress, which is completely renewed every three years."
