Copula Mundi è un festival culturale fiorentino gratuito, itinerante, contenitore di performance di arte, musica, teatro, danza, workshop e laboratori aperti a tutti. Nasce dalla convinzione che fosse necessario creare uno spazio di espressione per tutte quelle realtà giovanili emergenti attive sul territorio fiorentino e non, nel tentativo di proporre un modo alternativo di vedere la cultura e di vivere la città. Un immaginario nuovo, ricco di sperimentazione e contaminazioni, frutto di un più ampio progetto di partecipazione e condivisione collettiva delle esperienze e delle realtà cittadine.

L’evento si configura come un evento di raccolta fondi per la nostra associazione Icchè ci vah ci vole, con ingresso ad offerta libera. L’ingresso al festival è quindi gratuito, con la possibilità di lasciare un offerta libera all’ingresso e sostenere così il progetto alla base del festival ed il festival dell’anno prossimo

Il nome “Copula Mundi” prende spunto da un concetto elaborato da Marsilio Ficino durante il Rinascimento, stravolgendone il punto di vista e l’interpretazione: quando i differenti universi culturali e i creatori dei loro contenuti, si ritrovano in uno stesso ambiente fondendosi tra di loro, possono dar luogo ad un movimento circolare che “tutto connette in unità”, generando così un mondo di significato nuovo, qualcosa di più della semplice somma delle parti. Un concetto che si adatta perfettamente ad un festival culturale che abbraccia ed esalta l’eterogeneità dei linguaggi espressivi, creando uno spazio nuovo dove possano coesistere ed interagire in modi nuovi e differenti. Pensandoci un attimo, quale altro gesto ha il potenziale creativo di una copula? Che sia l’unione di due persone, o di due parole, crea sempre qualcosa di impossibile senza di essa.

Copula Mundi vuole essere un momento di sintesi e di confronto, teatro di artisticità affermate, nascoste o che non hanno mai avuto la possibilità di esprimersi; collaborazione tra temi e realtà diverse che permettono l’incontro di nuovi modi di vedere la realtà e di rapportarsi con essa, coinvolgendo soggetti provenienti da altre regioni, città o addirittura paesi.

Apertura verso l’esterno e verso il diverso come possibilità di espressione e crescita personale e collettiva, anche tra generazioni differenti. Questo vuole esprimere il festival.

Attraverso il coordinamento di artisti, performer e attività interattive e il coinvolgimento diretto della cittadinanza è nato un evento all’insegna della partecipazione sociale, fortemente legato al territorio: rivolto agli abitanti della città nella micro scala del quartiere, con l’intento di restituire loro questi luoghi trasformati, migliorati e vissuti in maniera diversa. Un nuovo scenario che possa portare nel futuro ad una visione differente di questi spazi, non come vuoti ma come aree ricche di potenziale e soprattutto di vita.Copula Mundi is a free Florentine cultural festival, itinerant, of performance art container, music, theater, dance, workshops and workshops open to all. The event is designed as a fundraising event for our association we icche vah there vole, with to offer free admission. The entrance to the festival is therefore free, with the option to leave a free offer input and support so the project at the base of the festival and next year's festival

The name "Copula Mundi" is inspired by a concept developed by Marsilio Ficino in Renaissance, distorting the view and interpretation: when the different cultural universes and creators of their content, they find themselves in the same environment merging with each other , may result in a circular motion that "everything connects in unity", thus creating a world of new meaning, something more than the sum of the parts. A concept that is perfectly suited to a cultural festival that embraces and celebrates the diversity of forms of expression, creating a new space where they can co-exist and interact in new and different ways. Thinking a moment, what other gesture has the creative potential of a copula? What is the union of two people, or two words, always creates something impossible without it.

Copula Mundi will be a moment of synthesis and comparison of established artistic quality theater, hidden or who have never had the chance to express themselves; collaboration between different themes and realities that allow the encounter of new ways of seeing reality and deal with it, involving parties from other regions, cities or even countries.

Opening to the outside and from the other as a means of expression and personal and collective growth, even between different generations. This is intended to express the festival.

Through the coordination of artists, performers and interactive activities and the direct involvement of citizens it was born an event in the name of social participation, strongly linked to the territory: facing the inhabitants of the city in the micro scale of the neighborhood, with the intention of returning them these places transformed, improved and lived differently. A new scenario that could lead in future to a different vision of these spaces, but not as empty as areas rich in potential and life experience.
