Our vision is to create a safe and secure, happy environment for all children. Our environments are warm and friendly. We encourage children to be imaginative, creative and to investigate their surroundings through child led activities indoors and outdoors.

We want all children at Dan Dan’s to have an enjoyable experience where children can explore a natural environment, from ages 3 months to 5 years.

Dan Dan’s is influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach and would like all children to experience the learning ethos of Reggio approach, where the environment is the 3rd teacher. We ensure that the environment is stimulating and based upon your child’s individual needs and interests.

We offer a key worker approach system where children can form a confident relationship with adults and children within the settings. All children are planned for individually involving parents with their child’s next steps and planning. We ensure that the care and education is paramount and we follow every aspect of the Early Years' Foundation Stage (EYFS).

We encourage children to explore the activities around them, and acknowledge children’s own individuality and therefore provide a plethora of resources to suit all interests.

We are committed to ensuring that your children are our primary focus during the day, and that they learn though play but most of all have lots of fun.
