Artista plural, Zeca Baleiro construiu uma carreira sólida, sempre surpreendendo público e crítica a cada trabalho. O que muita gente não sabe é que sua carreira começou no teatro infantil, aos 18 anos, em São Luís do Maranhão. Baleiro fazia trilhas para clássicos do teatro e da literatura infantis como “Flicts”, de Ziraldo, e “O Reizinho Mandão”, de Ruth Rocha.

Entre 98 e 2000 tornou-se pai de Vitória e Manuel, e a partir daí passou a compor compulsivamente para os filhos, acumulando um repertório de mais de 60 canções. Desde então, planeja gravar “Zoró”.

Produzido por Guilherme Kastrup, Zeca Baleiro chamou uma legião de amigos e parceiros para participar. Entre os convidados estão Tom Zé, MPB4, Fernanda Abreu, Walter Franco e seu filho Diogo Franco, Landau, Blubell, MC Gaspar, Carlos Careqa, a Turma da Paçoca, Natália Matos, Alzira E, Tetê Espíndola, Wado e o violeiro mineiro Chico Lobo, além de um dream team de músicos multi-instrumentistas.

Com animações assinadas por grandes animadores brasileiros, como Marcos Faria, Catapreta, Marcelo Presotto, Dani Libardi, Deeper e Marcelo Amiky, além do argentino Tomas Rajlevsky, do Wake Studio.
