A Câmara Municipal possui quatro Funções: Legislativa, Fiscalizadora, Administrativa e de Assessoramento. A Câmara, no exercício de suas funções legislativas, delibera sobre Emendas a Lei Orgânica, Projetos de Lei, Decretos Legislativos, Resoluções e sobre todas as matérias, de competência do Município.The City Council has four functions: Legislative, Audit, Administration and Consulting. The Chamber, in the exercise of its legislative functions, shall decide on amendments to the Organic Law, Bills, Legislative Decrees, Resolutions and on all matters of jurisdiction of the municipality.
