NOTE 1: This is app is ONLY for owners of Empeg/Riocar mp3 players.
NOTE 2: Your player MUST have a recent version of the Hijack kernel installed (http://empeg-hijack.sourceforge.net)

This app allows you to control the Empeg on a phone or tablet and provides the full functionality of the original remote control as well as full playlist navigation and control. Colors can be customized to fit the lens color of your Empeg. The app also employs discovery to automatically find Empegs on the network.

A bit of history:
Empeg Ltd was the first company to bring to market an in-dash MP3 player, the empeg car, first shipped to customers in 1999. On November 1st 2000 Empeg was acquired by SONICblue Incorporated, who continued to market an updated version of the car player - Rio Car - until it was discontinued in January 2002.
