Why Do We Love Ghost Stories?

Ghost stories have been with us so long as man has. If we have confidence in ghosts, we will sit down and pay attention, allowing ourselves to be pulled in to the tale and the world of the afterlife. It's the secret of unknown in ghost stories we hear that pulls us to them. Hearing a tale from anyone who has experienced something we desire to a visit from the lifeless. Although we may say we never want to deep inside we think a little glance wouldn't be such a poor thing.
