About Radio FM 90s

“Satnam Shri Wahe Guru”

Sikhism was established by 10 prophet teachers called Gurus over the period from 1469 to 1708. Sikh means ‘seeker of truth’. Sikh Gurus applies only to these Gurus who founded the religion starting with Gurunanak and ending with Guru Gobind Singh; thereafter it refers to the Sikh Holy scriptures the Guru Granth Sahib. Ten successive masters consciously channelled and acknowledge the power of the Shabad Guru.
The Sikh teachings encourage people to live their lives in service to others, but not as beggars or in poverty. Instead they believe in creating abundance, peace, and prosperity throughout the earth, to serve humanity, and to build interfaith dialogue and cooperation, as well.

List of ten Sikh Gurus is presented here-

1. Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469-1539)
2. Guru Angad Dev Ji (1504-1552)
3. Guru Amar Das Ji (1479-1574)
4. Guru Ram Das Ji (1534-1581)
5. Guru Arjan Dev Ji (1563-1606)
6. Guru Hargobind Ji (1595-1644)
7. Guru Har Rai Ji (1630-1661)
8. Guru HarKrishan Ji (1656-1664)
9. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (1621-1675)
10. Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666-1708)
11. Guru Granth Sahib Ji (The Eternal Living Master)
