Fruit d’une ambitieuse collaboration avec le Musée des Arts et Métiers, l’exposition « Eppur si muove » (« Et pourtant elle tourne ») du 9 juillet 2014 au 17 janvier 2016 au Mudam, à Luxembourg, s’intéresse aux nombreux liens qui existent entre le champ des arts visuels et celui des techniques, ainsi qu’à l’influence déterminante qu’exerce l’histoire des sciences et des techniques sur les artistes contemporains.

Investissant l’ensemble des espaces d’exposition du Mudam, elle réunit, sur le mode du dialogue, quelques soixante-dix pièces datant du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours issues des prestigieuses collections du musée parisien et plus de cent trente oeuvres d’artistes qui, à travers les notions qu’ils abordent, les expériences qu’ils proposent, mais aussi les modes de production et de collaboration auxquels ils recourent, se saisissent des questions qui animent les domaines de la technique et de la science depuis plusieurs siècles.The application of the exhibition "Eppur if muove" ("And yet it moves") of 9 July 2014 to 17 January 2016 at the Mudam in Luxembourg, is the official application of the exhibition.

Fruit of an ambitious collaboration with the Museum of Arts and Crafts, the exhibition "Eppur if muove" ("And yet it moves") of 9 July 2014 to 17 January 2016 at the Mudam in Luxembourg is interested in many links between the field of visual arts and the technical as well as the decisive influence of the history of science and technology on contemporary artists.

Investing all of Mudam exhibition spaces, it brings together, in the dialogue mode, some seventy pieces dating from the eighteenth century to the present from the prestigious collections of the Parisian museum and more than one hundred and thirty works of artists through the concepts they approach, experience they offer, but also the modes of production and collaboration to which they resort, seize questions that animate the fields of technology and science for centuries.
