(मुलुकी देवानी संहिता ऐन and मुलुकी फौजदारी संहिता ऐन २०७४)Over the last fifty years, both civil and criminal issues have changed a lot, prompting the need for adopting a new legal system. The Muluki Ain of 2020 BS is based on its predecessor, the Muluki Ain of 1910 BS introduced by Rana Prime Minister Jung Bahadur Rana.
The court came into effect on 22 December 1854. In 1883, the Muluki Ain (Country Code) was promulgated which amended and codified all laws of Nepal – civil and criminal, including religious and customary. It also abolished the much-abused method of trial by ordeal which was common in those days.National Code (Muluki Ain) 2020 (1963) The National Code of Nepal (in Nepalese only) is the first unified law enacted in the 20th Century, more specifically, on 2020 Bhadra 1 (1963) with the objective of maintaining peace and fostering good relations among people irrespective of class, caste or region.Nepali Muluki Ain 2074 (मुलुकी ऐन २०७४) in Your Smart Phone .
