You park your car in a big and crowded parking lot in a mall and wish you had an easy to use app that could help you find your car, when you were done with shopping, without having to look here and there trying to remember where you parked your car, then this app is for you.

This app lets you record your car location when you park your car. Later when you are ready to walk back to your car the app guides you back to your car with your location and direction of movement regularly updated and shown with respect to car location so that you can quickly walk back to your car. When you are done finding your car you can tell the app so and it erases recorded car location from its memory and it is now ready for the next time.

Note: This app uses signals from GPS satellites for providing directions and therefore works well when used in an outdoor location.

How to use:

1) When you park your car, start "ParkedCarFinder Free" app. App will come up with the map of current location and a button with text "Record Car Location". Tap this button while standing close to the car. App will record your car's location and a red car image will be drawn on map to show your car's location. Button text will change to "Take Me To My Car". Now you can use your cell phone for other purposes if you like. App will remember car's recorded location.

2) When you are done with your work and are ready to walk back to your car, bring the app back on cell phone screen and tap the "Take Me To My Car" button. Button text will be changed to "Found Parked Car". Screen will be updated with your current position shown with a pedestrian symbol. Your car's location will be there on screen marked by a red colored car image. Walk back to the car based on the visual guidance provided by the map on screen. Your location will be updated on the screen regularly along with the path you are moving, to provide you the visual feed back, that you are moving in right direction and approaching the car. Distance from you to your car will also be regularly updated on phone screen.

3) Once you reach close to your car, press the "Found Parked Car" button. Car and pedestrian symbols, as well as, your path to the car will be removed from the display.
