SONO QUI è un servizio sperimentale che consente di registrare in tempo pressochè reale il percorso delle proprie gite di scialpinismo, escursioni a piedi, giri in bici o MTB, ecc. ecc. Contestualmente viene registrata anche la posizione attuale che l'utente ha all'interno del percorso stesso.
E' pertanto cosa assai diversa da un navigatore GPS quale TwoNav o OruxMap in quanto SONO QUI si connette a internet e comunica la posizione dell'utente in tempo più o meno reale.
Sono due gli elementi di questo progetto:
- una app (chiamata SONO QUI) che opera su uno smartphone Android e registra il percorso (e la posizione) inviandolo periodicamente su internet;
- un computer (o un tablet o uno smartphone) connesso ad internet che consente di vedere la posizione attuale dell'utente e fornisce anche diverse informazioni (sempre in tempo reale) utili alla sua sicurezza; il link utile è www.lalpinistavirtuale.it/sonoqui
Solo chi è autorizzato (di volta in volta, da parte di ciascun Alpinista Virtuale) potrà seguire il percorso della gita, dell'escursione a piedi, del giro in bici, ecc. del proprio familiare e/o amico. Ciò può essere utile per questioni di sicurezza ed anche come informazione generica utilizzabile per più scopi ludico/sportivi (esclusi solamente quelli commerciali)
Dovrà essere il singolo utente che ha installato sul proprio smartphone la citata app, e PRIMA dell'inizio della gita, a selezionare da un proprio apposito e personale elenco i nominativi a cui inviare una email (e/o un SMS; prossimamente un messaggio di WhatsApp) che informa i destinatari circa :
- le istruzioni che consentono ai propri familiari e/o amici di collegarsi al sito www.lalpinistavirtuale.it/sonoqui in cui è possibile visualizzare il percorso ed altri dati ad esso collegati;
- il codice di autenticazione che abilita ad accedere al servizio; senza tale codice non è possibile visualizzare la pagina web con il percorso sopra citato.
