Southey Honda & Nissan began operation as used vehicle dealers in 1976 on the corner of Park & Dixon Streets, Masterton.As the company grew, so did the loyal clientele. Many of these clients now required new or late model vehicles.
In those days prior to Japanese imports, late model vehicles were hard to acquire. So, a new showroom and workshop was built and in 1986 the company acquired the Honda Franchise. In 1993 again saw an expansion programme when the Nissan franchise was added to satisfy clients who required a commercial range of vehicles i.e. Utilities and station wagons with petrol or diesel options. Today Southey Honda & Nissan employs 12 people each highly skilled in their particular field.
