Maltepe Uğur Anadolu Lisesi, öğrencilerini Türk Milli Eğitimi’nin Genel Amaçları ile Türk Milli Eğitimi’nin temel ilkelerine uygun olarak, Atatürk İlke ve İnkılâpları doğrultusunda, Demokrasi kavramını benimsemiş, Hür Bilimsel düşünce anlayışı kazanmış, mutlu, çalışkan, toplumsal sorumluluklarını bilen, geniş dünya görüşüne sahip, yapıcı ve yaratıcı birer Türk genci ve dünya vatandaşı olarak hayata ve üst öğrenime hazırlamaya devam edecektir.
