Ulster Scots Carrickfergus APK

This audio driving tour of Carrickfergus will take you through some well known points of interest...as well as some more obscure places. The tour starts off at Knockagh Monument, with its stunning views of the region. Then it’s off to Carrickfergus castle, where you’ll hear about a daring jail break, thee are more Ulster-Svots connections and the Andrew Jackson cottage at Boneybefore and at Dalway’s Bawn, then we’ll stop off at Ballycarry Church before heading on to Castle Chichester in Whitehead. We’ll finish the tour back in Carrickfergus where we’ll go to Shaftsbury Gardens and St Nicholas’ Church.

You may decide to stop off and explore all of these locations, in which case the tour may take most of a day – just depending on how long you spend at each location. Or you might decide to plan your own route around the sites that interest you most.
