The ‘Vivad se Vishwas’ (VsV) Scheme was announced during the Union Budget, 2020, to provide for dispute resolution in respect of pending income tax litigation. It allows for pending appeals to be settled by taxpayers by paying due taxes with complete waiver of interest and penalty by March 31.
