About Radio FM 90s

Welcome to a new card game experience! Let's talk about the rules first;

Sixty-Six is played with a total of 24 cards, and the values of the cards, from smallest to largest, are as follows: 9 = 0; J = 2; Q = 3; K = 4; 10 = 10; A = 11. The sum of the points is 120. The aim of the game is to reach 66 points as soon as possible.

Dealing the Cards

Each player is dealt three cards twice, for a total of six cards. Then the top card of the deck is revealed and placed on the bottom so that half of the card is at the bottom of the deck. This face-down card is the trump card in that game. The order of dealing cards alternates between the players.

Starting the Game…

The player who does not deal starts the game first and plays a card. The other player plays a card from his own hand against the played card. He takes the high-value card or trump card and collects the cards in front of him by turning them upside down. Closed cards cannot be opened and viewed again. Players need to keep track of how many points they have collected in their minds. The player who takes the hand first, then the other player; each player takes the top card of the deck on the floor and takes it into their hand. It is not obligatory to play or trump the desired card (same as the discarded card) unless there is a new card to be drawn in the deck and one of the players does not close the game.

Nine of Trumps

The player who has the lowest trump card, the nine, automatically changes the trump that is lying face down with the nine in his hand. In order for this action to take place, the player must have taken at least one hand and it must be his turn to start the hand. In other words, this replacement cannot be done while there is a card on the floor.

Marriage Status

Marriage/pairing occurs when a player, when it is his turn to play, matches the same colored queen and king, and throws one of them to the ground while showing the other at the same time. The value of a trump match is 40 points, and a match of other colors is worth 20 points. During the game, the player who gets married/matched usually throws one of the partners to the ground, shows the other in his hand and tells the score he got. It is necessary to get at least one hand to get marriage/match points.

Out of Cards

After the loser of the last sixth hand has taken the last trump card, there are no cards left to draw. After this stage, the rules of the game become more stringent and it is imperative to play the desired color and trump if it is not available.

Shutdown Status

If one of the players believes that he can score 66 points with the cards in his hand, he says "game over" and closes the open trump card and puts it on the top of the deck. After this stage, the rules in case of the end of the deck apply. If the player who closed the game reaches 66 points, he gets his point from normal scoring. If he does not reach 66, 2 points are written to the opposing player.

Scoring

The point values of the cards taken by the player (9=0; J=2; Q=3; K=4; 10=10; A=11) are added.
If the player has scored 66 points or more, he gets points according to the following rule:
If the opposing player has 33 or higher points, 1 point,
2 points if the opposing player has taken at least one hand and has scored between 0-32 points,
If the opponent has not taken any hands, he gets 3 points.

May the best one win!
