CODIGO PENAL DEL PERU
DECRETO LEGISLATIVO N° 635

EL PRESIDENTE DE LA REPUBLICA: POR CUANTO:
De conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 188 de la Constitución Política del Perú, por Ley Nº 25280 publicada el 30 de octubre de 1990, el Congreso de la República delega en el Poder Ejecutivo la facultad de dictar mediante Decreto Legislativo el Código Penal, dentro del término de 90 días, nombrando para tal efecto una Comisión Revisora de los proyectos elaborados y facultándola a introducir en ellos las reformas que estime pertinentes;
Que, mediante Ley Nº 25305 publicada el 10 de febrero de 1991 el Congreso de la
República concede un término adicional de 60 días para ejercer la facultad delegada;
Que, la mencionada Comisión Revisora ha cumplido con presentar al Poder Ejecutivo el
Proyecto de Nuevo CODIGO PENAL aprobado por ella, de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por el artículo
2 de la Ley Nº 25280;PENAL CODE OF PERU

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC: WHEREAS:
In accordance with Article 188 of the Political Constitution of Peru, by Law No. 25280 published October 30, 1990, the Congress delegated to the Executive the power to dictate through Legislative Decree the Penal Code, within of 90 days, to that effect in naming Review Commission plans drawn and empowering them to introduce the reforms they deem pertinent;
That by Law No. 25305 published February 10, 1991 the Congress of the
Republic granted an additional 60 days to exercise the delegated authority;
That said Audit Commission has failed to submit to the Executive
New Project PENAL CODE approved by, according to the provisions of Article
2 of Act No. 25280;
